Great news for Disabled Shooters

There is a long way to go before shotgun sports are recognised and scheduled in the Paralympic Games, but yesterday saw a huge step forward as the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) signed an agreement to extend collaboration and testing.

That means that that test events can now be staged in order to develop shotgun events for disabled athletes ready for the Paralympics.  The ISSF & IPC have been working together for some time on Rifle and Pistol events, but it raises hope that our sport will enter the Paralympics before long.

Full details of the agreement are carried on the ISSF Website.
