The exciting and innovative Championships continue to thrill in their fifth year!

Sunday 19th May 2013

The Benelli SP’AUTO Championships continue to grow in popularity, with many competitors returning year on year. For the second year running the event will take place at the West Midlands Shooting Ground, Shropshire; after much positive feedback, following our staging of the event there last year.

This ground breaking event has been drawing shooters who are looking for a fresh challenge to test their powers of concentration! It is the first ever Sporting shoot designed exclusively for semi-automatic shotguns and this year promises to be just as captivating. The course will be comprised of 120 targets over 14 stands. The SP’AUTO allows full use of the auto’s three shot facility and stands will be presented as either (a) three targets on the call of “pull” or (b) two targets with full use of the gun. Some targets may be presented as pairs while others will be on report.

The 2013 Championships are once again being generously supported by Hull Cartridge, Steiner binoculars and CCI International, whose continued sponsorship of the event is testament to the competitions sustained popularity and interest.

With a prize fund in excess of £7,000*, an affordable entry price and a dynamic shooting format, the Benelli SP’AUTO is a unique, challenging and exciting clay shooting competition not to be missed!
