ShootClay News – August 1st

ShootClay News – August 1st

Pinch, Punch etc – welcome to August.  However, there are still some amazing events coming your way this season.

This weekend has the FITASC GB Compak English Open and Selection shoot at Southdown, 100 targets shot straight through.  There is a 100 ESP alongside the event, and the weather looks excellent for Sunday at least. Contact the ground if you want to enter.

Next weekend, Barbury Shooting School are running their Sporting Challenge – a 100 bird ESP competition taking place from August 7th to 10th. There are cash and cartridge prizes in all of the classes and categories, and entry is £38 for non-members.  Full details and rules here.

Finally for the week an update on The ShootClay Cup, entries are filling up quickly.  Saturday 12pm and 3pm are now completely full, and Friday morning and Saturday morning are now starting to get busy.  We now have multiple World Champions booked in for the shoot, very exciting to see top shooters joining to compete in the inaugural cup competition.  On top of 120 world class sporting targets set by Mark Marshall, there will be the pool shoot with great prizes and of course, the back number raffle which will see ALL shooters in with a chance of winning a top of range Blaser Luxus shotgun worth over £6000.  The whole event is very exciting and with just three weeks till the start of the event, it’s time to get booked on and join the fun.
