The ShootClay Ideal

We started ShootClay to provide independent news, views and information about Clay Pigeon shooting – with over 25,000 registered shooters, and many more enthusiasts who are shooting for pleasure, we felt there was an opportunity to build a new community to share the best information about our favourite sport.  We built ShootClay.co.uk to provide easy access to content, through a clean, uncluttered web design.

The ShootClay Team

Matt Rutherford – I’ve been shooting since 2009 – but blogging and designing websites for a lot longer. Based in Berkshire, and shooting at many of the local shoots around Maidenhead – I’ll be focused on bringing up-to-date news from the Clay Shooting world to the ShootClay site.  For the gun enthusiasts, I shoot a Beretta 686 E Sporter – and whilst I’m still learning the sport, I’m enjoying slowly getting my scores up.

Matt Eade – I’ve been shooting for about 12 years, first at my local club and then at various shoots local to Slough and Maidenhead. I’m going to focus on bringing  tutorials and equipment reviews to ShootClay. Like my colleague on ShootClay, I’m a Beretta devotee – and my 682 Gold can be found out and about at local shoots every weekend.
