The governing body of Clay Shooting – the CPSA – has announced a new CEO – Nicholas Fellows will take up his position on 4th April 2011. Interestingly for the ShootClay team, Mr Fellows comes from a business and sport background but is not currently a competitive shot although his background in the British Olympics Association will clearly serve him well during what is a key time for the sport.
Mr Fellows has already committed to take up registered competition shooting, and has applied for his SGC (we wonder if our guide was any use to him) – so we hope to see him at the occasional registered shoot that we take part in.
At ShootClay – we wish Mr Fellows luck in uniting the sport – and hope that we see him out and about meeting members and hearing from members as soon as possible.
