Another of the key events in the UK calendar for 2012 is the Benelli Sp’Auto Championships – being held on Sunday 20th May at the West Midlands Shooting Ground (Hodnet).  It’s a new venue for this popular event that is now in it’s fourth year and is the only Sporting Championship designed exclusively for semi-automatic shotguns – with stands being presented as either three targets or two targets with full use of the gun. Last years event was won by Martin Myers, with Stuart Clark and Graham Stirzaker in second and third respectively.

It’s great to see this moved to the well respected West Midlands Shooting Ground which has a great reputation for putting on good, testing targets across the landscape there.  There will be 120 targets across 14 stands which should provide something for everyone, and a real test.  Prizes include Hull Cartridges, Steiner Binoculars and the High Gun will win a Benelli Vinci worth over £1500.

Entry Fees are £52.00 for seniors and £32.00 for juniors – which is the same as the 2011 price – a rare thing in this day and age!  Full details and online booking are available at www.benellispauto.co.uk
